Ruben Collazo Jr. is a 33 year BAC member. He signed up as an apprentice in 1988 as a brick mason working for a mid-size residential mason contractor. In 1993 Ruben became a foreman serving in this role until 2006 when he was hired as a union organizer for the Bricklayers District Council No 1. In 2009 he was appointed as a trustee to the Welfare and Pension Trust Funds. In 2013 he was promoted to Business Representative where he remained until recently being asked to serve as Secretary-Treasurer. 

Along with President Volpentesta, his duties include managing the finances of the ADC and managing the day to day afffairs of the ADC office staff.
