A fourth generation member of Local 56 since 1994, Doug is a Journeyman bricklayer and worked in both residential and commercial areas of the trade.  Doug has been an Officer with Local 56 since 1998 serving as Recording Secretary, Secretary Treasurer and recently was appointed as Local 56 President in 2016.  In 2016 Doug was also appointed as one of the Vice Presidents on the Executive Board for Administrative District Council in addition to serving as a Health & Welfare and Pension Fund Trustee. 

Doug was hired by the Local 56 Benefit Funds in 2007 as Collections Coordinator, then in 2009 was hired as a Business Agent with the newly formed Administrative District Council.   In 2013 he was hired as a Field Representative with the Administrative District Council Benefit Funds.   Currently Doug is Director of Collections, overseeing the collection of benefit fund employer contributions.
