Brothers and Sisters,

It is official!  The people of Illinois have approved the Workers’ Rights Amendment, guaranteeing every Illinois citizen their fundamental rights to organize their workplace and bargain collectively with their coworkers for better pay and safe workplaces.

I want to thank you, your families, and friends for all the support to get the Workers’ Rights Amendment passed. We phone banked, we knocked doors and had kitchen table conversations on how important this was for the labor movement.

Thank you again to everyone who made this possible. Union Labor, their families, and friends came out to support this historical moment.
